IFA has wrapped up for another year, running from Fri, Sep 7th to Tue, Sep 10th. As with previous events, the show took place over the weekend, which has drawn mixed feedback from exhibitors. Saturday and Sunday saw heavy foot traffic from consumers and the public, but by Monday, and especially Tuesday, many exhibitors appeared fatigued, with a noticeable drop in attendance on the final day.
General feedback indicated that overall attendance numbers remained flat compared to last year.
While there weren’t many groundbreaking new technology products, the ongoing shift toward remote work continued to drive interest in home-office solutions, wellness products, and sustainable living.
There were some eye-catching new PC and keyboard products designed to elevate the home office, including offerings from Black Rock / Dark Project and Martian Tec.
The Geme range of domestic kitchen composters also stood out, as future trends suggest that such devices will become common fixtures in modern kitchens.
