This is an exciting role in a rapidly growing team. As the senior marketing role, you will have a high level of autonomy and will be required to strategize with the leadership team on use of budget for best possible execution across the breadth of European platforms. If successful, you will have the opportunity to grow your own team as the business scales up.


Position Summary:

Reporting to the Development Director, you will be responsible for the day-to-day work required to deliver the marketing aspirations of our vendors across platforms in Europe and the UK. You will work with the eCommerce Business Manager in driving sales performance and key KPIs for Exertis as well as assisting with the growth and establishment of new services. You will work with other staff members in marketing roles to help deliver your objectives.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Listings management and analysis; overseeing and managing listings for optimal return
  • Strategy and execution; using insights and data to enhance sales performance through SEO, PPC, paid advertising, social platforms etc.
  • Work in partnership with the eCommerce Business Manager and wider team to drive marketing execution in tandem with stock supply and promotional activity
  • Report on key KPIs, review weekly performance and adjust your strategies accordingly
  • Assistance in onboarding new vendors and participating in the vendor pitch process as required
  • Assist in the expansion of new territories both inside Europe and further afield


Essential Requirements:

  • 5+ years in a digital marketing role
  • Qualifications in marketing, relevant eCommerce certifications or demonstrable experience of success in similar roles
  • Fluent English, second language a bonus
  • Interpersonal skills: self-confidence, gravitas and excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Other skills:
    • High level of proficiency in MS Office tools, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
    • Self-sufficiency; able to get on with tasks without supervision
  • Knowledge of key eCommerce and advertising platforms, e.g., Amazon Seller/Vendor Central, eBay, Google, Facebook, TikTok etc.
