Exertis SCS Meets Major Automotive Manufacturers During UK Trade Mission

Exertis Supply Chain Services (SCS) joined Enterprise Ireland’s trade mission to Scotland from 26-27th September 2018. Led by Minister for Business, Enterprise and Innovation, Heather Humphreys TD, this two-day trade mission was aimed at supporting Irish companies seeking to consolidate and sustain exports to the UK. This was the largest trade mission undertaken by Enterprise Ireland to the UK since the Brexit vote, and it helped deepen existing relations and growing market opportunities between Ireland and the UK, particularly Scotland.

On September 26th, delegates from Exertis SCS had the opportunity to visit two automotive manufacturing plants in Scotland; travelling to Volvo in Motherwell, followed by Alexander Dennis in Falkirk. The evening culminated in the ministerial trade dinner in Glasgow, where Exertis SCS was one of 56 Irish companies in attendance. The following day, Exertis SCS joined an Irish delegation in showcasing its Vendor Consolidation & Tail Management Solution to the Automotive sector at the NEAA (North East Automotive Alliance) Expo in Sunderland.
